Our history
A story of experience,
evolution and continuity
C.I.T.I. comes from a solid tradition in industrial plant engineering, built over time through technical competence, precision and the ability to handle complex fabrications.
From the origins to 1971
The activity started in industries in the Milan area and province, up to the official founding in 1971 as a craft company by Fantoni Giorgio and Chiodini Valerio.
From the beginning, the company stood out for reliability and quality in industrial plant maintenance and construction.
Growth and specialisation
Over the years the company evolved, consolidating its presence and developing a strong specialisation in cryogenics, vacuum piping and stainless-steel fabrication.
In 2003 partner Chiodini Valerio left, marking a phase of reorganisation and further consolidation.
Thanks to the initiative of his son Andrea, competence in building and installing plants for cryogenic gases was strengthened — a highly technical specialist field.
A generational transition
The company was born from the founder’s determination, who built a solid and reliable organisation over time, continually investing in technology and training.
In 2008 Fantoni Andrea joined as a partner, bringing continuity and a vision oriented to innovation.
Today the sons Andrea and Sergio Fantoni lead C.I.T.I., carrying forward acquired experience with a modern outlook geared to market needs.
Current structure
In 2025 the company completed the generational transition, with Fantoni Giorgio stepping down as managing partner and the move to the new Gessate site, in a workshop equipped for advanced fabrications.
This further improved organisation and the management of complex projects.
Hands-on field experience
Over the years C.I.T.I. has delivered plants for many leading national and international companies, working on technical gas systems and high-precision fabrications.
Our staff is highly qualified, with welding certifications to UNI EN ISO 9606, specialised in TIG welding on stainless steel and technical materials.
We have always paid great attention to workplace safety, achieving zero accidents and obtaining sector-specific certifications.
